We celebrate raising £10 million for Sussex!
Sussex Community Foundation has welcomed a new chairman in the same week that the charity announced it has raised £10 million in support of charities and community groups across Sussex.
The Rainbow Fund
The Rainbow Fund at Sussex Community Foundation is a charitable fund for the benefit of the Lesbian Gay Bisexual and Transgender Community in Brighton & Hove and to help maintain the Brighton & Hove AIDS Memorial.
After successfully signing off the fundraising for the Aids Memorial, Sussex Community Foundation have agreed to convert the Aids Memorial Fund into a more general fund to enable the Community to raise money for LGBT voluntary sector and HIV/AIDS organisations, especially those who struggle to get grants from the Statutory funders at present.
The fund will be administered by the Sussex Community Foundation and we will be appointing five Trustees to oversee the grants process.
