Worthing & Adur Fund
Worthing and Adur Chamber of Commerce is working with Sussex Community Foundation to create a new charitable fund for the area – with every donation matched pound for pound by Government through the Grassroots Endowment Challenge.
Donations are already coming in from business people keen to take a lead in building a permanent endowment fund which will support local charities and community groups now and in the future.
The Chamber ambition is to raise £100,000 to create a local fund worth £200,000. To get the fund off to a good start it is currently seeking 25 founder donors prepared to give at least £1,000 each.
