A number of local people have come together to establish and develop The Rye Fund, which is a local fund designated for the Rye area and set
up in conjunction with Sussex Community Foundation.
The Fund is open to further donations and a Steering Group of local residents is actively working to develop and grow the Fund.
Donations to the Rye Fund will be dedicated for the sole benefit of Rye,
and a local panel will be set up to identify and recommend suitable
projects for receiving grants.
This panel will consist of local people who know the area and who will
probably already be involved in a local business or charitable organisation.
