Champagne in the garden
Guests of Sussex Community Foundation enjoyed exclusive access to a pre dress-rehearsal performance of the opera 'Albert Herring' by Benjamin Britten at Glyndebourne.
The afternoon began with a champagne reception in the beautiful gardens after which guests moved into the Opera House.
After the performance guests were given a tour of the back-stage area and rehearsal rooms and had the opportunity to meet Gus Christie, the Executive Chairman of Glyndebourne.
The event rounded off with afternoon tea provided by Leiths after which guests were updated on the progress of Sussex Community Foundation by Chairman, John Peel and Chief Executive, Kevin Richmond.
