General Donations
Making a general donation through the Sussex Community Foundation is a way of giving something back and making a difference to Sussex. Any amount would be very welcome and your donation is brought together with others, which means it has far greater impact than if you acted on your own.
Donations are invested in the Sussex Investment Fund, a permanent endowment fund that will be managed by the Trustees of The Foundation.
The income is then used to fund community and voluntary organisations that are working to transform lives and make Sussex a great place to live. Your money will be targeted at community groups in areas of greatest need.
Your generosity could contribute to initiatives like these.
Alternatively, if you are able to make a major donation of £10,000 or more, you can set up your own charitable fund at the Community Foundation and decide exactly which causes it will support. See the options available to you when setting up a fund in your own name.
How to donate
You can donate now securely online. Click on the link below which will take you to a new window which is a secure web page hosted by CAF (Charities Aid Foundation).
If you are a UK taxpayer please ensure that you tick the Gift Aid option as this will increase the value of your donation by 28% at no cost to you.
You can download a Bankers Order Form to set up a regular donation by standing order. Don't forget if you are a UK tax payer increase the value of your gift by returning the Gift Aid Declaration. Alternatively contact us for more details or to receive the forms by post.
