Are you eligible to apply?
Applicants must have a constitution or set of rules, and be able to show that they are not-for-profit, but do not always have to be a charity.
- Is your organisation a registered charity or not for profit organisation?
- Does it have a constitution or written set of rules?
- Does your organisation meet the needs of people living in East or West Sussex or Brighton & Hove?
We do not accept:
- Applications for Individuals
- Organisations that are part of central, local or regional government.
- Major Capital appeals
- Requests for sponsorship
- Applications to support fundraising events
Size of Grants
Most of our grants are in the region of £1,000 to £5,000. In exceptional cases larger grant applications may be considered. Small applications of less than £1,000 are encouraged.
