Southern Water is hosting the Super Irish Race day at Fontwell Park racecourse, near Arundel on Saturday 2 October 2010.

Covers Timber & Builders Merchants once again pulled in the crowds for their annual Charity Christmas Carol Concert held on the 21st December at their Head Office in Chichester, Quarry Lane.
This was their 5th concert and the final total raised was over £4,000 for Sussex Community Foundation. Generous donations came from Covers’ suppliers, customers and staff.
Chairman of the Sussex Community Foundation, John Peel, said “What Covers have done today is amazing and to raise this amount of money for our charity is unbelievable. Thank you so much”.
The cheque was presented to Father Christmas himself by Covers Chairman, Patrick Green along with Santa’s helpers.
The event was attended by a crowd of 800-plus who sang carols backed by the Chichester Amateur Operatic Society. Children enjoyed a visit from Father Christmas with two of his reindeer with Santa giving out free presents in his Grotto.
There was also face painting, circus workshop, a festive cooking demonstration and other fun activities.
One member of the public commented on the day “This Carol Concert has become an annual tradition in Chichester and Covers always put on a great day, thank you to them”.
